The visual identity of ‘Zampanό’ restaurant was inspired by the homonymous character in the Oscar-winning Federico Fellini film La Strada. It comprises of strong typography and a series of almost surreal, handmade illustrations that transport the viewer from the restaurant’s kitchen to the Italian circo and the traveling troupes of the time where Zampanό lived. The menu is ‘bound’ with a newspaper holder, complementing the old-fashioned, bistro-style aesthetics of the restaurant.
